TUSIAD sends letter to U.S. president Obama

The chairperson of the Turkish Industrialists’ & Businessmen’s Association (TUSIAD) sent a letter to U.S. President Barack Obama on a resolution at the U.S. congress regarding the incidents of 1915.

Arzuhan Dogan Yalcindag, the chairperson of TUSIAD, said in her letter that if the U.S. Congress passed the resolution when there was a rapprochement between Turkey and Armenia, it would be an unfortunate situation.

She also sent copy of the letter to U.S. Vice President Joe Biden, Secretary of State Hillary Clinton, Secretary of Defense Robert Gates and National Security Advisor James Jones.

Instead of initiatives which could make negative impacts on Turkish-American relations, there was need for the ones which would boost the relations, Yalcindag said in her letter.
